Far Superior to Everlast, November 2, 2010

These are far superior to Everlast wraps in every way. Easier to wrap, better thumb loop, better material, better elasticity, better shape retnetion wash after wash, thinner and more breathable, better hand protection since I can wrap tighter. That they are 1/2 the price of Everlast is a bonus. Longer, thinner and stretchier is a good thing. I hit the bag as hard as I possibly could today with these for 30 minutes and felt nothing in my hands. I have not experimented too many brands of wraps but with these I’m not tempted too. I’d be surprised if you didn’t love them.

Thinner than I expected, but look very cool. Got a bunch of compliments on them the first time I wore them to kickboxing.

UPDATED: So I’ve worn these about 5 times total since buying them. I have a bunch of hand wraps from all different companies and alternate often. Although these look cool af, my impression is that they are not made very well. Yes, I wash them each time I use them (cold water, air dry), and I’ve found that the “DANGER” print seems to fade very quickly. Even the velcro is starting to come apart from the wraps. Like I said, I’ve only worn them about 5 times since buying them, to kickboxing, and my workout is usually only about an hour long – paired with the fact that I wear heavy duty boxing gloves over them for 85% of the workout, so it’s not like I put them through anything too rigorous. I do pushups and burpees and high knees and sprints and things of that nature to warm up, so the wraps really aren’t being affected. But whatever; just my two cents.

Long and stinky, October 2, 2016

These are good wraps. They’re about 2 feet longer than my normal wraps and 4 feet longer than some other wraps I have purchased…so they are on the longer side of the hand wrap spectrum as far as length is concerned. The only thing I don’t really like about these is the smell. They stink. The instructions say to soak them in vinegar before washing so it helps set the dye. I didn’t do this because I don’t really care, but I’m guessing the vinegar would have helped take away some of the smell too. I can’t describe the smell, but it is pretty bad. It took about three washes for the smell to be reduced enough that it’s not a bother. Other than that, these wraps work well so far.
